Here I would like to acknowledge some of the people in the J/7 community and beyond who inspired me, mostly with their own writing, to write these stories myself.
As NomdePlume knows, I was inspired by both her writing and her site. I love her style, and stories such as Veracity, Inter-Mission or A New Year's Dawning I reread regularly. She has been elegant enough to let me get away with imitating the layout of her site when I first started, and I am forever grateful for her generosity.
One of the main reasons I started writing myself is GB's site and specifically her message board. When I was just a lurker stumbling onto her site and noticed how truly nice people were on her board, I wanted to contribute something more and eventually I even found the guts to post a message there with a link to my first story.
Another source of inspiration I would like to mention here is the site which hosts the delicious 'Campus'-series among other wonderful stories: [VAR] title. 'Campus' is an Uber and one of only two stories which have kept me up at least one ENTIRE night reading. I couldn't have stopped if my life had depended on it.
FInally, I would like to acknowledge the two writers who inspired me enough with their beautiful stories to actually get me to write again. thelastgoodnameleft and Telanu are phenomenal writers who have each written exceptional The Devil Wears Prada stories that sparked a fire within.
Thank you all!
I would also like to thank all the others who have found their way here and have encouraged me in my writing: your visits and reactions are much appreciated.
